Card Night!

Turns out, Carter likes Jet's Pizza just like the rest of us...only catch is when he wipes it in his hair, and with a little help from Hot Henry a mohawk is very easy. AND THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN BY RYAN. (so there. whiner.)

Ethan LOVES card night. When he's around we always play the fancy Uno game. He loves pushing the button and you can't help but laugh when he squeals in delight when it shoots cards at someone. The reaction from him is worth playing the game when he's around.

Gone Swimmin'

Last weekend we had a swim date with Ryan, Angie, Ella, Layla (no, she was not in the pool), Jenny, Ethan and Carter. We started the festivities with a 'clean-out-the-fridge' dinner with Ryan whipping up some "gourmet" grilled cheese. AND RYAN TOOK SOME OF THESE PHOTOS TOO (double whiner.)

This poor child will never be camera shy. If you want to see the actual photo Ryan took, just go over to his blog (Wood Frames) under my links section on the right.

Ethan and Ella had great fun swimming that pool out of water.

Turns out Carter loves the water too...

At the end of the night everyone was ready for bed, comparing pj's and Ethan giving Ella teeth brushing advice.

Imagination.

When's the last time you used yours? I took this lying on Jeff/Jenny's sidewalk while I was trying to point out the "face" I could see in the clouds. It's been a looooong time since I've looked for cloud pictures, but I assure you if you want to kick back and relax your brain...reach to your inner child and do some cloud watching. (the face I was talking about is on the left hand side...with a big nose - can you see it?)

Another Kristy Classic...

Ryan was testing a lens and I always get guff for not being in any pictures...so there. You get what you ask for.

Mistro Daddy

Oh yeah? Well I can post piano photos too! It's rather rare to catch a photographer on the other side of the lens...turns out Ella's Daddy has a few songs up his sleeve too. Looks like Ryan and Angie might need a piano at the new place. :)

The Winter Pilsner/Lager Olympics

I was invited by my friend Emily to take part in the "1st Annual" Winter Pilsner/Lager Olympics. Her friend Charlie threw this event together (he definitely has a future as an event planner) and man was it a good time. The party whipped up around 1pm and they were still at it when we left at 8pm! How often do you get to play flippy cups, beer pong, keg throwing, sled relay and one-armed-basketball-with-a-beer-in-the-other-hand? This is only a sampling of the fun...

Here's Dave attempting to master Flippy Cup.

The fine art of Beer Pong. Our team rocked the first round but were beaten in the championship.

Here is my team (The Channel 4 News Team) reading the sculpture instructions. Let me just mention that they included a "tip": Don't let the neighbors see what you're up to. The theme was *ahem* rather explicit...and that is also the reason why you will not see pictures of our WINNING sculpture. Here's a more tame one below...

This team was giving me the "no photos yet" paparazzi hand. I'll just say they created a lovely "forest". I'm not going to say of what because I don't need every search engine on the internet to bring the weirdos.

Here are the teams after the first round complete with medals around their necks - Josh, Emily and Dave. (sorry I can't remember the whole team name!)

The Dirty Samuel Adams Team

The Channel 4 News Team - we were the champions!!

Once again, I can't remember the team name, except that they were all from the Essexville area...

These were the fourth place prizes...and the most popular I might add. I'm proud to say I recieved two!

Thug Emily partying down like a rockstar with her bling!

Party planner King Charlie and Dirty Samuel Adams team member Tara.

I've never seen one of these contraptions but apparently it is indeed a "Shot-Ski". Drew is ever so kindly filling them up with every one's favorite...Jager. Eeeesh.

There was a whole of "busta move" going on.

Layla Rose

Congratulations to the Wood Family that is now four! To see pictures of Angie and Ryan's new little girl click to Ryan's blog - Wood Frames at right.
