Farmers Market

While we always have two great markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays down at the Tridge, we've been trying something new on Monday nights right on Main St from 4-7 p.m. There is a lot of great produce to be had, so bring a friend or ten and come down to shop local.

Leadership Midland - Class Project 2009

I'm finally getting out from all of the backed up editing I have been working through. Here is the fun from our class project that we completed in May 09. We rebuilt a low ropes course, painted, built fences, cleared brush, cut trees and in general had a grand old time. Once the movie loads, there will be a play button in the lower left-hand corner...enjoy! Sorry it is so teeny, I'm still working through sizing issues with this blog.

Lost up north.

Tony and I were finishing up a dry suit test dive in Bear Lake and thought "go home or go north?" We basically picked up the map and picked Charlevoix for no other reason than neither of us had been there. We ended up staying there a night and had some good beach time, food and wine. I had forgotten how fun road trips can be.

Summertime in Northern Michigannn....

We took a summer excursion up north in June and had some good times fishin', ridin' and swimming with the fishes. The first one is a sky shot we took in Gladwin on the way up. You know me, addicted to weather. :)
